PRINCE GEORGE — A local man pleaded guilty to 14 felony charges in Prince George Circuit Court last month after committing a string of break-ins.
Christopher Quick, 21, was arrested following a burglary, which he was caught in the act. Quick was inside a vehicle when the owner’s son arrived home. The man noticed someone in the car and took out a handgun, which he kept pointed at Quick until police arrived.
After this incident, Quick was linked to several vehicle burglaries in the Prince George area. Quick pleaded guilty to four counts of grand larceny, eight counts of petit larceny, one count of attempted petit larceny, one count of larceny of a firearm, and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. Quick was sentenced to a total of 150 years, with all but three and a half years suspended.
Quick was previously arrested in 2010 on similar charges and was a convicted felon before receiving these charges.
