PRINCE GEORGE — Police are asking the community for help in the search for a Prince George man who has been missing for a week.

Harry Lee Womack, 70, was last seen near his residence in Red Hill Trailer Park located off of Puddledock Road on June 10.

The area is between Hopewell and Colonial Heights off of Temple Avenue, near Fort Lee.

Womack’s family contacted police last week after not being able to get in contact with him. According to Lt. Paul Burroughs with the Prince George Police Department, the family had last spoken to him on June 11.

“He likes to frequent the East Washington Street area, several business owners know him, so we’ve been asking around trying to see if anyone has seen him,” Burroughs said.

The police department, along with Womack’s family, has been posting fliers around the area in hopes that someone has seen the missing man.

“We’re asking the public for anyone who has seen him to contact us,” said Burroughs.

Womack is described as 5-foot-9-inches, 130 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. Burroughs says Womack has not been diagnosed with any disorder or illness that would make him have any sort of memory loss or confusion, making his disappearance highly unusual.
