Kids charged in PG break-in

PRINCE GEORGE — Three juveniles were arrested after breaking into the Prince George Department of Social Services.

The three juveniles broke into the building through a window and stole an iPad as well as keys to two county vehicles. Police discovered the two vehicles near Scott Memorial Park around 4:45 a.m. and went to investigate. When the police came closer, one of the suspects ran, while the other two were taken into custody. Later that morning the third suspect was taken into custody. All three are Prince George residents. Two of the juveniles were charged with burglary, grand larceny, and all three were charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle.

The two vehicles were recovered with minor damage, but the iPad was not recovered.
