At around 4:46 p.m. police responded to a report of shots being fired. After arriving, police learned an altercation had taken place, during which the shots were fired.
The suspects fled, but police say they were able to identify the three parties involved.
The first suspect was found shortly after the incident, and was identified as Lavert Cox, 20, of Petersburg, police said. Cox was charged with shooting into an occupied building and discharging a firearm in a public place.
The United States Marshal Task Force apprehended a second suspect, Darias Leake, 19, of Petersburg, this week. At the time, Leake was wanted for two counts of assault and battery and destruction of property.
